      Flies expressing dmWT.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PB show a significant increase in average ommatidial area compared to controls.

      Flies expressing dmWT.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544 show a strong bending down of the wings.

      Expression of dmWT.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544 induces apoptosis in the larval wing disc.

      The average clonal area of clones in the larval wing disc expressing dmWT.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PP is increased compared to that of control clones.

      Expression of dmWT.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PBb in eyes using the "ey-FLP" system results in an increase in ommatidial size compared to controls, both when the eyes are dm[+] and when they are mutant for dm4.

      The expression of dmWT.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PBb in the eye (using the ey-FLP method) can rescue the reduced size but not the reduced number of ommatidia of eyes consisting of dm4 homozygous cells (induced using the ey-FLP method).
