UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
A 1-hr heat shock during early embryogenesis results in embryonic lethality and head defects (expanded head domains or abnormality in mouth hook formation) in MabiKK106905 Scer\GAL4hs.PB animals. Cell death in the head domain is decreased.
MabiKK106905/Scer\GAL4hs.PB is a suppressor | heat sensitive | partially of increased cell death | embryonic stage phenotype of bcd+t8
MabiKK106905, Scer\GAL4hs.PB, bcd+t8 has lethal - all die during embryonic stage | heat sensitive phenotype
MabiKK106905, Scer\GAL4hs.PB, bcd+t8 has embryonic head | heat sensitive phenotype
A 1-hr heat shock during early embryogenesis in animals expressing MabiKK106905 via Scer\GAL4hs.PB in a 6x bcd (two inserts of bcd+t8, homozygous) background results in embryonic lethality and a significantly greater frequency of embryos with head defects (expanded head domains or abnormality in mouth hook formation, or both) than in controls. The increased cell death in the head domain of 6x bcd embryos is partially suppressed by expression of MabiKK106905.
