UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
In posterior dorsocentral bristle neurons, expressing PRL-1KK108293 under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 eliminates the terminal arbor and reduces the number of synapses (Syt1 puncta) in the contralateral axon collateral, whereas en passant synapses along the axon shaft and synapses in the other two main axon collaterals are unaffected; terminal arbor and bouton formation at the neuromuscular junction seem unaffected.
