Somatic clones expressing CblS.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Tub.PU show no obvious differences in the number of intestinal stem cells or the overall number of cells per clone compared to controls.

Unlike CblL.Scer\UAS, driving CblS.Scer\UAS with Scer\GAL455B, Scer\GAL4GR1 or Scer\GAL4EQ1 does not lead to egg shell ventralisation and driving with does not produce rough eyes. However, driving with Scer\GAL4GMR.PF causes mild wing defects and most CblL.Scer\UAS; Scer\GAL4e22c animals die during pupal stages. Some escapers have abdominal hemisegment fusions.

The generation of CblS.Scer\UAS mutant eye disc clones enhances the amount of cell death seen in Rbf120a mutant eye discs. Co-expression of mir-998Scer\UAS.cTa blocks this suppression.

The formation of extra dorsal appendage material in eggs laid by btl::EgfrScer\UAS.T:λ\cI-DD; Scer\GAL4EQ1 mothers is only weakly suppressed by CblS.Scer\UAS. The wing phenotypes of these animals are not suppressed by CblS.Scer\UAS.
