Sox14Δ13 mutant ddaC neuron clones exhibit dendrite pruning defects at 16 hours after puparium formation. No difference is seen at the white prepupal stage.
The majority of the primary and secondary dendrites remain attached to the ddaC soma at 18h APF and 24h APF compared with white prepupae in Sox14Δ13 homozygotes, Sox14Δ13/Sox14Δ15 and Sox14Δ13/Df(2R)BSC136 transheterozygotes, indicating no dendritic pruning has occurred.
