Adulthood expression of TER94GL00448 under the control of Scer\GAL4NP5130 for 7 days leads to an increase in the number and proportion of progenitors (i.e. esg-positive) and stem cells (i.e. Dl-positive) in the midgut, as well as increase in the mitotic index; there are also increased proportion of enteroblasts in the midgut. Many large esg-positive also express the EC marker Pdm1, indicative of intestinal homeostasis loss.

Adulthood expression of TER94GL00448 under the control of Scer\GAL4Dl-05151-G for 7 days leads to an increase in the number of stem cells and enteroblasts in the midgut.

Adulthood expression of TER94GL00448 under the control of Scer\GAL4Su(H).GBE.cLa for 7 days leads to an increase in the number of enteroblasts in the midgut.
