Reference

Expression of gbbHMS01243 under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 depletes the tissue of wing vein L5 and the posterior crossvein and reduces wing size.

The adulthood-only expression of gbbHMS01243 (using Gal80[ts] for the temporal regulation of expression) under the control of either Scer\GAL4esg.PU or Scer\GAL4Acp26Aa.PC does not significantly affect the size of either main cell or secondary cell nuclei, as compared to controls.

Down-regulation of gbb in Pdf-positive neurons, through expression of gbbHMS01243 under the control of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf induces strong locomotor arrhythmicity. Expression of gbbHMS01243 under the control of Scer\GAL4tim.PE and suppressed in Pdf-positive cells through the presence of Scer\GAL80Pdf.PS results in some rescue of the arrhythmic phenotype.
