After 48 hours of exposure, flies expressing ZwScer\UAS.cLa under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 are more tolerant to hydrogen peroxide than wild-type flies.

Expression of ZwScer\UAS.cLa under the control of either Scer\GAL4arm.PS, Scer\GAL4tub.PU, Scer\GAL4da.G32, Scer\GAL4D42 or Scer\GAL4Appl.G1a results in an increase in lifespan compared to controls.

Flies expressing ZwScer\UAS.cLa under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS show increased resistance to hyperoxia (100% O[[2]]) compared to controls.

Expression of ZwScer\UAS.cLa under the control of either Scer\GAL4arm.PS or Scer\GAL4Appl.G1a show increased resistance to paraquat compared to controls.
