Detailed Description

Expression of PtenScer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4hh.PU results in decreased size of the posterior compartment in third instar larval wing discs.

Scer\GAL4Myo31DF-NP0001-mediated expression of PtenScer\UAS.cUa results in smaller midguts at 0h relative puparium formation (RPF) compared to controls. These midguts appear to undergo rapid degradation and are particularly fragile.

Mosaic clones overexpressing PtenScer\UAS.cUa in the midgut of feeding larvae are reduced in size and induce autophagy compared to surrounding wild type cells.

Wild type males spend significantly less courtship time with females expressing PtenScer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.Switch.PK (upon exposure to RU486), as compared to control females.

Expression of PtenScer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in a small eye phenotype, with the ommatidia being reduced in size relative to wild type.

The midgut phenotype seen in PtenScer\UAS.cUa Scer\GAL4Myo31DF-NP0001 animals is suppressed by co-expression of Atg1GL00047.

The midgut phenotype seen in PtenScer\UAS.cUa Scer\GAL4Myo31DF-NP0001 animals is suppressed by co-expression of Atg18VDRC.cUa.

Expression of PtenScer\UAS.cUa strongly suppresses the glial neoplasia seen in third instar larvae when btl::EgfrScer\UAS.T:λ\cI-DD and Pi3K92EScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC,T:Hsap\CAAX are co-expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4repo.PU.

Xenogenetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Co-expression of Hsap\TXNScer\UAS.cSa suppresses the small eye and ommatidium phenotype caused by expression of PtenScer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF.
