Compared to controls unresponsive to a 34, 36 or 38[o]C probes (without pre-exposure to UV), early third instar larvae with TkR99DScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP over-expressed by Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9 show significant withdrawal responses.
Third instar larval fillets with TkR99DScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP driven by Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9 show significant increases in action potential firing rates in response to thermal stimuli in class IV neurons at higher temperatures (36-40[o]C, without UV exposure; similar to UV-treated controls in magnitude).
Scer\GAL4Orco.2.642.T:Hsim\VP22-mediated expression of TkR99DScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP results in a significant decrease in behavioural response index at high concentrations of ethyl-3-hydroxybutyrate and methyl hexanoate.

Co-expression of CG17760GD17286, CG17760KK113244, Gβ5JF02941, Gβ5KK108311, Gγ1HMS01361, Gγ1NIG.8261R, ptcScer\UAS.cJa, smo5A.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG, ci76.Scer\UAS, enKK107874, painGD2221, painJF01065, dispGD2813 or presence of pain70/pain70 (but not pain70/+) significantly suppresses the withdrawal responses to a 38[o]C probe (without pre-exposure to UV) seen in early third instar larvae with TkR99DScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP over-expressed by Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9.
Co-expression of TkR99DScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP significantly rescues the reduction of thermal allodynia (withdrawal responses to a sub-threshold 38[o]C probe after UV-induced nociceptive sensitization) seen in early third instar larvae with TkR99DGD375 driven by Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9. Expression of TkR99DScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP driven by Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9 significantly rescues the reduction of thermal allodynia (withdrawal responses to a sub-threshold 38[o]C probe after UV-induced nociceptive sensitization) seen in early third instar TkR99Df02797/TkR99DMB09356 larvae.
TkR99DScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP driven by Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9 significantly restores a UV-induced increase in action potential firing rate in class IV neurons at higher temperatures (36-39[o]C) in third instar TkR99Df02797/TkR99DMB09356 larval fillets.
