Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1-mediated expression of eyaWT.Scer\UAS.T:Uuuu\Myr4 does not induce ectopic eyes.

Co-expression of eyaWT.Scer\UAS.T:SV40\nls2 and eyaWT.Scer\UAS.T:Uuuu\Myr4 via Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 results in approximately two-fold more ectopic eye induction relative to expression of eyaWT.Scer\UAS.T:SV40\nls2 alone.

Scer\GAL4GMR.PU eyaWT.Scer\UAS.T:Uuuu\Myr4 eye/brain complexes show an average of 19.0 overshooting axon bundles per brain, compared to 8.4 in controls.
