UAS regulates expression of the a C-terminal portion of the LD04957 conu cDNA encompassing the GAP domain (nt 939-1731, aa 313-577), with a Tag:Myr(Unk) sequence directly after the start codon, followed by a 3x N-terminal Tag:FLAG tag.

      Scer\GAL4ap-md544-mediated expression of conuGAP.Scer\UAS.T:Uuuu\Myr5,T:Zzzz\FLAG does not induce overproliferation in the wing disc epithelium, but does result in a furrow at the expression boundary and increased apical cell size.

      Scer\GAL4GMR.PF-mediated expression of conuGAP.Scer\UAS.T:Uuuu\Myr5,T:Zzzz\FLAG results in ommatidial fusions, giving a glossy rough eye appearance.
