Expression of Nprl2dsRNA.shRNA.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 significantly partially suppresses the small ovaries and reduced fertility seen in Wdr241/Wdr241 females. Expression of Nprl2dsRNA.shRNA.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4hs.PU significantly partially suppresses the reduced body size (measured body weight) seen in Wdr241/Wdr241 flies. Expression of Nprl2dsRNA.shRNA.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 rescues the egg chamber growth defect but not the inappropriate accumulation of autolysosomes seen in Wdr241/Wdr241 flies (though autophagy activation is reduced). Expression of Nprl2dsRNA.shRNA.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 does not suppress accumulation of acidic puncta in mio2/mio2 or Nup44AΔ15/Nup44AΔ15 ovaries.
