The expression of VincHead.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Equa\eqFP578-TagRFP under the control of either Scer\GAL4Act5C.PU or Scer\GAL4Mef2.PU leads to lethality; expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PU also leads to a range of embryonic muscle defects in the majority of cases, including misshapen or misplaced muscles, gaps in the muscle pattern, and ectopic attachments, and to the formation of ectopic VincHead.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Equa\eqFP578-TagRFP-positive cytoplasmic protein aggregates in those muscles, as compared to controls; clonal expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PU also leads to the formation of ectopic VincHead.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Equa\eqFP578-TagRFP-positive cytoplasmic protein aggregates in the follicular and pupal wing epithelia, as compared to controls.
