Description and Uses
Description

FlyBase curator comment: TI{20XUAS-IVS-CsChrimson.mVenus} represents DNA inserted into the genome where the inserted DNA contains sequence encoding Cnoc\ChR1::Csub\ChRCsChrimson.IVS.20xUAS.Venus and is not flanked by transposable element ends. Other sequences may be present in the inserted DNA and the precise sequence inserted may differ for different insertions of the construct. For details of what is inserted into the genome for an individual insertion of TI{20XUAS-IVS-CsChrimson.mVenus}, see the description in the insertion report and in any allele reports associated with that insertion.

Description

20xUAS drives expression of CsChrimson fused to Venus. Golgi and ER export motifs have also been added to the coding sequence. FlyBase curator comment: the original published version of FBrf0224260 erroneously stated that this construct contained Chrimson rather than CsChrimson; this has since been corrected in the online published version (for details see also the corrigendum FBrf0226484 and the addendum FBrf0227011).
