Expression of aopScer\UAS.cRa in type II neuroblasts using Scer\GAL4insc-Mz1407 and Scer\GAL80ase.PZ results in near total elimination of intermediate neural progenitor cells.

Expression of aopScer\UAS.cRa driven by Scer\GAL4ey.PU leads to a dramatic reduction in the size of the eye field.

Expression of aopScer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in a normal-looking eye.

Flies expressing aopScer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF display a weak rough eye phenotype.

Overexpression of aopScer\UAS.cRa in outer border cells, driven by Scer\GAL4slbo.2.6, has no effect on border cell migration.

Embryos expressing aopScer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 wild-type neuronal differentiation in the central nervous system.

Expression of aopScer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PB results in deletion of the eye.

Embryos expressing aopScer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E have a normal denticle pattern.

Co-expression of both aopScer\UAS.cRa and hppyRB.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in a severe rough and "glossy" eye phenotype.

Flies that coexpress GugScer\UAS.cCa and aopScer\UAS.cRa, under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF, show an enhanced rough eye phenotype, compared to flies expressing either single transgene. The third instar discs of flies expressing both transgenes are normal, suggesting that the effects observed in the adult eyes occur during the pupal stage.

Expression of either GugScer\UAS.cCa or aopScer\UAS.cRa have very little effect on the extra wing vein material produced in flies that overexpress btl::EgfrScer\UAS.T:λ\cI-DD under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF. However, this wing vein phenotype is suppressed when GugScer\UAS.cCa and aopScer\UAS.cRa are both expressed along with btl::EgfrScer\UAS.T:λ\cI-DD (all under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF).

Expression of aopScer\UAS.cRa, driven by Scer\GAL4slbo.2.6, weakly enhances border cell migration defects in slbo01310 egg chambers.
