egg chamber & basement membrane | apical, with Scer\GAL4upd1.PU
Expression of eyaScer\UAS.cBb driven by Scer\GAL4GMR.PU does not induce any discernible eye phenotypes.
Overexpression of eyaScer\UAS.cBb using Scer\GAL4upd blocks anterior polar cell differentiation in egg chambers. As a consequence, the apical cap, which is formed from basement membrane components, that covers anterior polar cells in wild-type egg chambers is not present.
Ectopic eyes containing pigmented ommatidia and bristles are produced, often in the antennal region, when eyaScer\UAS.cBa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1.
eyaUAS.cBb, Scer\GAL4GMR.PU is a suppressor | partially of visible phenotype of Lmx1aUAS.cWa, Scer\GAL4GMR.PU
eyaUAS.cBb, Scer\GAL4GMR.PU is a suppressor | partially of eye phenotype of Lmx1aUAS.cWa, Scer\GAL4GMR.PU
Co-expression of eyaScer\UAS.cBb partially suppresses eye defects seen in flies with Lmx1aScer\UAS.cWa driven by Scer\GAL4GMR.PU.
The defects in innervate of the dorsal neurohemal organs by the Tv neurons that are seen in eyacli-IID/Df(2L)eya10 embryos are largely rescued by expression of eyaScer\UAS.cBb under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544.
