      Expression of flwScer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU rescues the lethality of flwG0172.

      Expression of flwScer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI rescues the lethality of flwXE55D and flwXE55E.

      Expression of flwScer\UAS.cRa under the control of either Scer\GAL4tub.PU or Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 does not rescue the lethality of flwXE55D or flwXE55E.

      Over 80% of males survive when flwScer\UAS.cRa is expressed, under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS, in a flw6 background. The transgene also rescues the crumpled wing phenotype in surviving flw6 and flwG0172 males.
