Expression of stetScer\UAS.cGa in the follicle cells under the control of Scer\GAL4CY2 results in weak dorsalisation of the eggshell.

stetScer\UAS.cGa when driven by Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 causes phenotypes in the wing. An ectopic vein phenotype is seen. When stetScer\UAS.cGa is driven by Scer\GAL4CY2 dorsalisation of the eggshell is seen, resulting in thickened dorsal appendages which are more spread apart in mutant eggs than in wild-type. In more extreme cases white appendage like material fills in between the two appendages.

Co-expression of stetScer\UAS.cGa and grkScer\UAS.cGa in the follicle cells under the control of Scer\GAL4CY2 results in strong dorsalisation of the eggshell.

Coexpression of SScer\UAS.cGb and stetScer\UAS.cGa when driven by Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 during wing development gives a highly penetrant pupal lethality. Despite the lethality, fully differentiated wings can be dissected from pupal cases, revealing a strong ectopic vein phenotype. much stronger than seen in stetScer\UAS.cGa,Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 wings alone. The addition of SX155 to stetScer\UAS.cGa, Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 flies almost completely suppresses the ectopic vein phenotype seen in these flies. The addition of grkScer\UAS.cQa to stetScer\UAS.cGa, Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 flies causes an enhancement of the ectopic wing vein phenotype seen in these flies.
