Expression of NScer\UAS.icd under the control of Scer\GAL4Scer\FRT.Act5C in third instar wing disc clones leads to wing disc hyperplasia, significantly higher levels of extracellular acidification, a decrease in the glycolytic reserve, lower oxygen consumption rate, and lower production of mitochondrial ATP in the wing disc, as compared to controls.

Expression of NScer\UAS.icd under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc.PU leads to wing disc hyperplasia in third instar larvae.

Expression of NScer\UAS.icd in randomly generated clones throughout the wing disc causes hyperplasia.

Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1-mediated expression of NScer\UAS.icd causes overgrowth of the wing disc, primarily along one axis.

Expression of NScer\UAS.icd under the control of Scer\GAL4sca-C253 leads to bristle loss on the notum, following suppression of sensory organ precursor cells.
