Ubiquitous overexpression of Nedd4^{Scer\UAS.Long.T:Zzzz\FLAG} under the control of Scer\GAL4^Act5C.PI results in lethality before the third instar larval stage.

Ubiquitous overexpression of Nedd4^{Scer\UAS.Long.T:Zzzz\FLAG} driven by any one of Scer\GAL4^da.G32 or Scer\GAL4^αTub84B.PL results in developmental lethality.

Flies overexpressing Nedd4^{Scer\UAS.Long.T:Zzzz\FLAG} driven by any one of Scer\GAL4^elav-C155, Scer\GAL4^D42, Scer\GAL4^{GMR.in.Switch.PR} or Scer\GAL4^ppl.PP survive to adulthood.

Transgenic flies overexpressing Nedd4^{Scer\UAS.Long.T:Zzzz\FLAG} in their muscles driven by any one of Scer\GAL4^how-24B or Scer\GAL4⁰⁰⁵ die during development.

Relative to wild-type, third instar larvae overexpressing Nedd4^{Scer\UAS.Long.T:Zzzz\FLAG} under the control of Scer\GAL4⁰⁰⁵ display a significant amount of abnormal innervation along the SNb branch from body wall muscle 13 to 12.

Overexpression of Nedd4^{Scer\UAS.Long.T:Zzzz\FLAG} in muscle driven by Scer\GAL4^how-24B results in a severe reduction of locomotor activity compared with wild-type.
