Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR-mediated expression of Ced-12Scer\UAS.cGa does not cause any obvious muscle perturbations.

Scer\GAL4GMR.PU-mediated expression of Ced-12Scer\UAS.cGa does not impact on ommatidial organization.

Co-expression of Ced-12Scer\UAS.cGa and mbcScer\UAS.cBa via Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR results in prevalent myoblast fusion, muscle attachment, and tendon cell identity phenotypes in embryos. The muscle attachment and tendon cell phenotypes are largely rescued in a Rac1J11/+, Rac2Δ/+ background, but not in a msk4/+ background.

Expression of Ced-12Scer\UAS.cGa or Ced-12Scer\UAS.cGa together with mbcScer\UAS.cBa via Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR partially rescues the msk4 embryonic muscle detachment phenotype.

Co-expression of Ced-12Scer\UAS.cGa and mbcScer\UAS.cBa using Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR results in missing muscles and many unfused myoblasts.

Co-expression of Ced-12Scer\UAS.cGa and mbcScer\UAS.cBa using Scer\GAL4GMR.PU causes a rough eye phenotype.

The rough eye phenotype resulting from Scer\GAL4GMR.PU-mediated expression of Ced-12Scer\UAS.cGa and mbcScer\UAS.cBa is suppressed by heterozygosity for Ced-1219F3, mbcD11.2 or Rac1J11, Rac2Δ.

Comments

Scer\GAL4sr-md710-mediated expression of Ced-12Scer\UAS.cGa in tendon cells does not improve the muscle detachment phenotype of Ced-1219F3/Ced-12KO embryos.

Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR- or Scer\GAL4how-24B-mediated expression of Ced-12Scer\UAS.cGa in muscles or mesoderm, respectively, efficiently but not completely rescues the muscle detachment phenotype of Ced-1219F3/Ced-12KO embryos.

Expression of Ced-12Scer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4Act.PU reverts the lethality of Ced-12c06760.
