The expression of msnHMJ02084 under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc.PU does not induce apoptosis in the ptc-domain of the third instar larval wing disc, as compared to controls.

Females heterozygous for msnHMJ02084 and Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 crossed to msnHMJ02084 males results in: 0% hatching; egg/embryonic phenotype: "all brown, u-shaped, anterior head defects, twisted"; maternal effect.
