Flies expressing crbintra.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU have a rough eye phenotype.

Expression of crbintra.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in dramatic overgrowth of the wing disc.

Expression of crbintra.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4en.PU leads to enlarged adult wings.

Expression of crbintra.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU results in a scab in place of the eye in the adult head cuticle.

Overexpression of crbintra.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC in the renal tubules, under the control of Scer\GAL4ct.PB does not affect tubule cell morphology in stage 11 to 13 embryos. Expression in stage 16 tubules results in a loss of junctional integrity where tubule cell polarity is compromised and tubules become multilayered cords of cells lacking a clear lumen.

Expression of crbintra.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC using Scer\GAL4GMR.PF causes severe external and internal eye phenotypes.

Expression of crbintra.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC using Scer\GAL4GMR.PF disrupts the regular array of ommatidial lattices and slightly reduces the number of elav-and B-positive cells.

When expression is driven in the eye by Scer\GAL4GMR.PF causes a rough eye phenotype. 97% of the photoreceptors in the pupal eye contain multiple adherens junctions of variable length. Polarity of photoreceptor is disrupted.

When crbintra.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC is driven by Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 in the embryo, cell polarity is disrupted.

Over expression of crbintra.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC when driven by Scer\GAL4da.G32 produces embryos with an epidermis that develops as a multilayered tissue (unlike the single layered epithelium seen in wild-type embryos). The cells also show defective polarity characteristics.

Phenotype is exactly as for crbScer\UAS.cWa, when driven by the same Scer\GAL4 lines.

The addition of crbintra.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC driven by Scer\GAL4385.3 partially restores the loss of the zonula adherens seen in crbunspecified embryos. The embryonic cuticle phenotype is also partially restored.

Rescues crb2 as does crbScer\UAS.cWa, restoring an almost wild type cuticle pattern including denticle belts.
