Expression of Mul1Scer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4RapGAP1-OK6 results in an increase in mitochondrial number and a reduction in mitochondrial size in the larval salivary glands compared to wild type.

Expression of Mul1Scer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4ple.PF suppresses the abnormal clumping of mitochondria seen in the PPL1 dopaminergic neurons of Pink15 adults.

Expression of Mul1Scer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PU suppresses almost all the defects seen in the indirect flight muscles of Pink15 adults and the thoracic indentation phenotype is also suppressed.

Co-expression of Mul1Scer\UAS.cYa suppresses the mitochondrial clumping which is seen in the indirect flight muscles of flies expressing MarfScer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4fln.IFM.
