Pcl¹/Pcl⁴ males show transformation of the second leg to first leg (sex comb teeth are found on the second leg).

Heterozygotes often show weak transformation of the second and third legs to first legs, and partial transformation of the fourth abdominal segment to fifth abdominal segment.
