Expressing SecClJF02437 under the control of Scer\GAL4tsh-c724 leads to increased survival to desiccation but does not affect survival to high salt conditions, as compared to controls.

Under constant darkness conditions: the expression of CG7589JF02437 under the control of Scer\GAL4Clk.2341 leads insignificant changes in circadian period and in the proportion of rhythmic individuals, as compared to controls; expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Clk.1.5, under the combined control of Scer\GAL4cry.PE and Scer\GAL80Pdf.PS, or under the combined control of Scer\GAL4Mai179 and Scer\GAL80Pdf.PS leads to a significant decrease in the proportion of rhythmic individuals, but to insignificant changes in circadian period, as compared to controls.
