Drives expression in a subset of uniglomerular antennal lobe projection neurons projecting to antennal glomeruli DA1, VA1d, and DC3.

ScerGAL4Mz19 drives expression in pupal antennal projection neurons covering broad areas of the developing antennal lobe.

ScerGAL4Mz19 drives expression in around 14 uniglomerular antennal lobe projection neurons. The cell bodies of around 6 of these neurons are positioned in the anterior-dorsal part of the antennal lobe and around 8 cell bodies are found in the lateral part. These neurons project to three different antennal lobe glomeruli.

ScerGAL4Mz19 expresses in ~6 neurons that innervate the VA1d and DC3 glomeruli, and in approximately 7 neurons innervating the dorsolateral DA1 glomerulus.

Adult expression is seen in projection neurons the adNb lineage in antennal glomeruli VA1d and DC3, and of the lNb lineage in antennal glomerulus DA1

Expression is observed in 12-15 projection neurons in antennal glomeruli DA1, VA1d and DC3.

Adult expression is observed in a cluster of neurons with cell bodies in the dorsolateral region of the anterior cortex of the brain. Labelled neurons, which include inner antennocerebral tract neurons between the antennal lobe and lateral horn, and mushroom body extrinsic neurons between the γ lobe and the inferior medial protocerebrum, arborize in the γ lobe of the mushroom body and in the medial and lateral 1 regions of the inferior medial protocerebrum. Representative images can be seen in Figures 4 and 5 of FBrf0105251.
