Scer\GAL4en-e16E-mediated expression of Arf51FScer\UAS.cCa has very little effect on the wing disc epithelium, besides slightly altering cell shape.

Expression of Arf51FScer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 specifically in the adult (using the heat sensitive Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B allele to limit expression) results in flies which are resistant to ethanol-induced sedation compared to wild-type controls.
