Co-expression of AMPKαTD.Scer\UAS fails to suppress the dopaminergic neuron loss seen in flies expressing srlKK100201 under the control of Scer\GAL4Ddc.PL, and additionally leads to climbing defects in these flies, as compared to controls.

Co-expression of SNF1ATD.Scer\UAS significantly rescues the phototaxis and axon guidance phenotypes, while it enhances the synapse overgrowth and excitatory junctional potential phenotypes, of RhebScer\UAS.cPa, Scer\GAL4elav.PLu flies.

Expression of SNF1ATD.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B suppresses the mitochondrial abnormalities and climbing ability defects seen in park1 mutant flies. The wing posture defects seen in park1 mutant flies are also rescued.
