      Over expression of picoScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\His6,T:Hsap\MYC in the wing using Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in significant wing overgrowth with little or no disruption in wing patterning observed. No effect on wing hair density is seen.

      Over expression of picoScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\His6,T:Hsap\MYC in the posterior compartment of the wing using Scer\GAL4en-e16E results in an expansion of the posterior tissue. These cells have normal cell cycle phasing and are of normal size.

      Somatic clones expressing picoScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\His6,T:Hsap\MYC contained significantly more cells that control clones, and these cells divide at a faster rate than controls.

      Moderate ectopic expression of picoScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\His6,T:Hsap\MYC throughout the fly under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS results in a dose-dependent increase in body mass.

      Expressing picoScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\His6,T:Hsap\MYC in a stripe of cells in the wing using Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 results in an expansion of the stripe. These cells often exhibit abnormal distribution toward the basal side of the wing disc epithelium, although they still appear morphologically normal.

      Co-expression of picoScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\His6,T:Hsap\MYC with E2fScer\UAS.cNa and DpScer\UAS.cDa in a stripe of cells in the wing using Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 fails to suppress cell death.

      Co-expression of EgfrDN.Scer\UAS and picoScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\His6,T:Hsap\MYC in the wing using Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 completely abrogates the enlarged wing phenotype seen when picoScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\His6,T:Hsap\MYC is expressed alone.

      Expression of picoScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\His6,T:Hsap\MYC by Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 in a ena210/+ mutant background dominantly suppresses the effect of ectopic picoScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\His6,T:Hsap\MYC on wing overgrowth.

      Wing overgrowth mediated by expression of picoScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\His6,T:Hsap\MYC in the wing using Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 is dominantly suppressed by bs2/+.

      Expression of picoScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\His6,T:Hsap\MYC alone or with picoL.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC,T:Zzzz\FLAG, under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.PB and heat-shock, rescues the lethality of picok1 mutant males.

      Over expression of picoScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\His6,T:Hsap\MYC and picoIR.Scer\UAS simultaneously in the wing by Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in normal wing formation, and the phenotypic effects of each alone are nullified.

      Reduced tissue growth resulting from ectopic expression of picoScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP in the wing by Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 is suppressed by co-overexpression of picoScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\His6,T:Hsap\MYC.
