Expression of LIMK1Scer\UAS.cCa in the posterior region of the wing under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E results in multiple defects in this region.

Expression of LIMK1Scer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E results in loss of wing tissue, wing blistering and increased width and fusion of veins in the posterior wing compartment. Wing discs expressing LIMK1Scer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E show a prominent accumulation of F-actin and aberrant actin organisation. Flies co-expressing LIMK1Scer\UAS.cCa and LIMK1D522A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E have normal wings.
