The frequency and severity of embryonic muscle defects induced by the expression of VincCO.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Equa\eqFP578-TagRFP under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PU are increased by the co-expression of PaxScer\UAS.cZa, and decreased by the co-expression of rheaIBS2.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-m6, but are not significantly affected by the co-expression of rheaScer\UAS.cTa.
The ectopic VincCO.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Equa\eqFP578-TagRFP-positive cytoplasmic protein aggregates formed in embryonic muscles upon Scer\GAL4Mef2.PU-driven expression are nearly abrogated by the co-expression of either one copy of rheaVBS1.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP, one copy of rheaVBS1.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Disc\RFP-mCherry, two copies of rheaVBS2.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP or one copy of rheaIBS2.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-m6, but are not significantly affected by the co-expression of either PaxScer\UAS.cZa or rheaScer\UAS.cTa. The ectopic VincCO.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Equa\eqFP578-TagRFP-positive cytoplasmic protein aggregates formed upon Scer\GAL4Act5C.PU-driven expression in follicle cell clones are nearly abrogated by either rheaB28, rheaA109 or rheaB128 homozygosity, strongly reduced by either rheaB7, rheaC18 or rheaC110 homozygosity and moderately reduced by mys11 homozygosity, but not reduced by PaxΔ1 homozygosity; these ectopic aggregates in follicle cell clones are also reduced if the clones are also homozygous for Df(3L)79a and the individuals express rheaΔ486-1937.T:Avic\GFP (leading to a strong reduction of aggregates) and rheaΔhead.T:Avic\GFP (leading to a moderate reduction of aggregates).
